View Full Version : Call of Duty: Black Ops takes public-voted BAFTA

Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops has won the only public-voted category in the GAME British Academy Video Game Awards, with over 110,000 consumers casting their votes.
EA and BioWare's Mass Effect 2 won the award for best game, presented at 195 Piccadilly in London this evening.
Sony and Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain took three awards, for technical achievement, story and use of audio, while Sony Santa Monica won the artistic achievement gong for God of War III.
Codemasters received the best sports game award for F1 2011 and Criteron's Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit claimed the best multiplayer award.
Lionhead's Peter Molyneux was awarded the BAFTA Academy Fellowship, joining fellow game makers Nolan Bushnell, Shigeru Miyamoto and Will Wright.
