Hi there. I just bought a Dreamcast SCART cable but something thats very annoying is that on the TV in my room, I get sound fine but the picture is really dim, can barely see anything so its basically like there is no picutre. Just to test things out, I tried plugging in my PS2 instead and that worked perfectly fine so I thought it might be the SCART cable I got for the Dreamcast but I thought I'd test out the Dreamcast with the SCART cable on the TV in my living room and it worked perfectly fine there (picture and sound were perfect) so I'm very confused now so can anyone help me out here? Thanks.

It's the TV... Something that many Dreamcast owners have experienced in the past 10 years.

Personally, I prefer using A/V to Scart because the image quality is better. My cable type has the option of both, which I connect a 6 metre AV cable (avoiding the scart connection).

I would personally suggest this:

Thanks for the reply and info. The thing is, I don't have the red/yellow/white sockets on my TV (just Scart as I can see it). Would using a Scart adaptor with those cables fix my problem? My PS2 is connected in the same way (AV cables -> Scart adaptor) and it works fine so would the Dreamcast work fine as well? Thanks.
