THQ has announced a new partnership with Adidas to bring its miCoach fitness training system to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The miCoach Interactive Training System will feature several Adidas athletes to lead users through workouts "including Dwight Howard, Kaká, Tyson Gay, Jessica Ennis, Ana Ivanovic and Eric Berry." The game is set to utilize Kinect or PlayStation Move, and will be compatible with the miCoach heart rate monitor for tracking real-time performance. Users will also be able to synchronize a miCoach Pacer or the miCoach Mobile app, "incorporating workout data gathered while away from the game."

Training is centered on sports, with THQ promising "running, tennis, football (soccer), American football and basketball, as well as the athletes who guide them through hours of on-screen training and motivating game experiences." Sure, it sounds impressive, but we're not sure it can compete without an elastic band. miCoach Interactive Training System is scheduled to arrive in early 2012.
