Respawn Entertainment, the studio founded by former Infinity Ward/Modern Warfare boys Jason West and Vince Zampella, has teased the first image of its unannounced game.

Unfortunately the image is just a blurry teaser of what's to come, released via the official website launched today.

Of course, the site gives away nothing further on the game. "Yes, we are working on a game. No, we haven't revealed it yet. Yes, at some point we will," it says on the front page accompanying the image of the unidentified object below.

On a separate page with the blurry picture, it says: "Respawn is developing a multi-platform product based on new video game IP and funded through its publishing deal with Electronic Arts, one of the top publishers in the industry."

In case you're in the habit of forgetting year-defining megatons, fired Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella formed new development studio, Respawn Entertainment in partnership with EA early last year.
