Child of Eden, groovy rhythm-action shooter and spiritual successor to Rez, will launch in Japan on October 6, Ubisoft has confirmed.
The game arrived in shops this side of the world in mid-June on Xbox, while the PS3 version of Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Rez-style shooter is still yet to arrive. Amazon UK has the PS3 version pinned for a September 23 launch and has been taking pre-orders for some time.
It could be worth the wait too - Q Entertainment producer James Mielke has hinted at the chance PS3 owners will get some sweet extras in their version of Child of Eden.
"It will definitely be worth the couple months that people have to wait for the PS3 version to get finished. People with PS3s, people with nice TVs, people with all kinds of control options... it's going to be really cool," he said, sparking rumours of added Move and 3D support.
