ok, thats your thing, well restart everything, the reset the system to its default then make a folder inside the Game folder with the folder naming it UPDATE, then put the update eboot, get out then go to game section on the menu screen and click the icon and let it rip...........

calm down. Get the eboot from psp-hacks.com. put it in a folder called UPDATE inside your memory stick's GAME folder. If there isn't one then create it.
Put the 2.80 Eboot in this folder. Plug in your charger in and go to the XMB, then Game and choose the update 2.80. Then let the upgrade run.
But you are so missing out on better things that a World Tour Soccer Demo. You really should downgrade to 1.5.

Yeah Sony puts the demo's on it's site with the latest firmware required that way it can coax people into upgrading.

Really what OS is your PSP? Also it's not a ta-082 is it? The newest downgraders for 2.01 -2.60 are very safe compared to the previous GTA required method. If your PSP is under warranty atleast risk it once and wait for devhook. You can always send it to Sony and have it upgraded under warranty.

Of course if you can't figure out how to create a folder named "update" in you psp's game directory and place your (unzipped) 2.80 upgrade eboot in it and simply go to your memory sticks game directory in the menu and execute it maybe you shouldn't try downgrading. Heck you should probably just avoid technology all together.

Update by downloading the 2.8 update.

Then create a new folder in your psp/game directory named exactly like this : UPDATE

place the eboot.pbp(from the downloaded update) into the update folder and load the update file from the games section of the psp menu

It's your choice man, but really, you are missing out on ALOT if you upgrade.

Now I regret that I ever updated. (Look at my sig)

Upgrading to 2.8 does not make any sense at all especially since you will eventually be able to emulate it in Devhook.

The chances are the Demo doesn't even actually require 2.8 anyway. Upgrading is like disabling your Psp if you ask me. Do it and eventually you will regret it, especially when the Demo becomes boring.

However, if someone wants to upgrade, of course feel free but many of them will be making threads impatiently requesting a 2.8 downgrader.
