View Full Version : Is there a guide on how to repair the psp dpad?

I have found the part over at http://store.richspsxparts.com/psplbudpadca.html, however I have yet to find a detailed guide on what you need to do to replace the dpad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Been there done that, didn't find anything other than how to mod your psp dpad. I was hoping for more of a guide like the one on how to replace your analog stick.

Like I said before, this is the closest to a guide I could get:

But I really don't want to mod it, I just need to replace my pad because the up button doesn't work. :/

Take off the faceplate, and remove the d-pad and see what the problem is. The screws are (also in the tutorial):
