The Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 3 will arrive on two discs when the game releases this October.

Microsoft has seemingly acknowledged what developers such as Castlevania: Lords of Shadow creator Mercury Steam have labelled an Xbox 360 "storage problem" (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/258080/xboxs-lack-of-blu-ray-a-problem-for-developers/). In March, the platform holder reportedly began trialling (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/295976/xbox-360-disc-update-adds-1gb-extra-storage-report/) a new disc format that will add an extra 1GB of storage to Xbox 360's ageing 7.95GB DVD format.
