Nick S. (also known as Birdman1) has just released version 9 of his font pack. This pack includes 132 very popular fonts already in the psp's font format. Also included are instructions on how to install fonts for 1.5, 2.0-2.8, and devhook.

Have a font you love but it is not included? There is also Freeplay's font creator tool for your PC.

Once again, Great Job Nick

Hey guys, I got this pack and based on the README it says to just overwrite ltn0.pgf with a font from this pack.

I'm going into my DH/271/flash0/font/ folder to replace the fonts but they do not show up. I've tried restarting the PSP after install, tried a few different fonts and nothing is working.

If anyone knows what is going wrong I'd much appreciate a tip. Thank you!

how does this work on 2.8 if it has to flash? I thought there wasn't any kernel mode for 2.8.

Thanks for responding to my post. I install the font by overwriting the ltn0.pgf file in DH/271/flash0/font. I then restart the PSP and launch DevHook launcher Mod, select a game and start it so that it goes to the 2.71 xmb. But the font I installed is not showing up.

Sooo I'm not sure what is wrong.

as a response to those that want to see the font before they use it. all the fonts that he uses are ttf with the same name as the folders he uses. google the name plust the word font and you will mostlikely find a page that shows the font. now, that won't show you how good the font looks on your psp, but you can tell if it is something you might like or not.

hopefully they will make some sort of viewer, but until then this method works, just not very efficiently. my real hope is they find a way to actively switch out the fonts [say when useing devhook] so we can just change to a few or different ones when the mood strikes.

by the way, great work birdman [:
