I need to downgrade my 2.6 f/w to 1.5 (it's not TA-082).

I don't own GTA:LCS but have got the eloader 0.9.8 working fine. From reading these forums, i believe i have to upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade to 1.5

i also read that you need to have the firmware from the correct area, but how do you know where it's from?? i got this one (http://dl.qj.net/Firmware-2.71-Firmwares-PSP/pg/12/fid/8046/catid/163) but not got a clue where it's from ??

ok, bit the bullet and tried the 2.71 firmware, copied the eboot over to PSP/GAME/UPDATE, launched the eboot 0.9.8, clicked on update, but then nothing happens, it just restarts the eboot?

has anyone managed to successfully upgrade from 2.6 to 2.71?? if so, hoW?!!

ok, my bad, just realised that you do the update from going to the game menu, then click on mem stick, then click on the 2.71 update!!

update complete!!

haha yea the game menu is where all the updates are saved to
