Sooo I got a psp with a TA-082 does that mean im out on all the fun

:confused: im a lil newbie here just started and i have a 2.71 fw with a TA-082 mother board and from what it looks like with this psp I am screwed
since i cant downgrade and have emulators on my memory stick BUT if im wrong here please let me know and tell me how could i enjoy the fun like everyone else i would love to have N64 and sum snes games on my psp heeeeelllllppppp!!!!

Don't update! There's an eLoader out for 2.71 that lets you run homebrew! You are not screwed!

also Dark_AleX's patch(when it runs static elf files instead of prx's) will allow u to run hombrew from the XMB(psp main screen) so u 2.71 TA-082 user's will be as good as a 1.5 user :)

not yet cuz u can't run normal homebrew(only in prx format), but as i heard when it's able to run normal homebrew and when it's a permenant patch it will be just like having a 1.5

for sum reason when i download eloader my winzip keep getting a currupted file very frustrating anybody got a good working zip and patches for my psp please send it to [email protected]

the 2.71 homebrew patch isn't really ready just released as a POC and that kernel access was working, i've been having problems with this site too as far as corrupted downloads, now i don't say this much but try *gulp* another site :o

Yes, you can run most homebrew, but i don't think you'll ever get the full extent of it. If you are a Ta-082 dev, then go ahead - prove me wrong.

BTW: My game works with 2.71, TTR 0.6, and a new version was released only a few hours ago!

so i download the new Dark_Alex's 2.71 XMB Homebrew Launcher doesnt work i guess all it does is freeze when i go in the hen folder and it cuts off on its on...... grrr this sucks
