i was wondering you know the webbrowser for 2.71 firmware SOMEONE shud mod the 2.71 firmware so it uses the psps memory not the flash so there will never EVER be a out of memory!

Oh yeah i dont like how devhook autoboots the umd its so frigging annoying it makes me pull out my hair can some one link me to some devhook that doesnt autoboot? works like customfirmware as u mght say

the memory reffered to by the web browser is not the flash memory it is the ram.

It would also wear out the memory stick faster...Also I don't have a problem with umd's auto booting because the custom devhook skin I have has a mod for that.

can't you just open the umd door before loading dh? its kinda annoying after a while but w/e's gets the job done

I wouldn't just be a little slower, it would unbearably rediculusly slow. RAM is so much faster than a memory stick it's not even worth doing. But if someone wants to; go head. It would still be kinda interesting to see if they could get it to work :).

Might actually be worth it if you were using one of the new high speed memsticks.Will memstick fragging be a problem though?

Even a high speed memory stick can't even compare to ram.

True,but alot of operating systems use virtual memory on the harddrive.
we'd have to look at the actual numbers on this to know
