problems running devhook

I'm currently using the reverse devhook to emulate 1.5 and it loads perfectly well. However, whenever i try to emulate 2.6 so that i can use CheatDevice for my GTA:LCS, the screen turns black and it shuts off. This happens when i attempt to do it via devhook 0.46 on 1.5 or devhook 0.4X on 2.71. Any1 know what went wrong ??

Do you have the 2.6 firmware dump?

You need the dumps for every firmware you are trying to run.

yeh u need the firmware files. download a devhook full version and take them from that. or DOWNGRADE!

that's the problem...i've got the dumps reboot.bin ipl folder etc but it gives me a black screen.

2.0-2.6 weren't tested(well by Dark AleX) so i don't think they work yet

aha...i c...though theoratically speaking it shud work after i emulate 1.5 and launch devhook. Maybe i shud go back to that tutorial i saw about being able to emulate 2.X with devhook 0.4x...be back in a jiffy

edit:hmmm...sum1 managed to emulate 2.71 on it, dun see why it can't for 2.6. dammit can't find no interent connection for my psp round here =/, wanna activate wma and flash. Though i do know how to edit the system.ireg and system.dreg to activate it, since it was posted by 0okm in particular...

yup works fine for me, u have the flash0, flash1, and reboot.bin in the 260 folder right?

yes....i got my dumps from the Ultimate installer for devhook 0.46, where did u get yours from? could u send it to me? A link would do as well :) [email protected]
