Hmm, every fake I have experienced have looked EXACTLY like that one. I would be wary of anything coming from ASIA, any card that looked like that one, or sellers with thousands of sales. Check their feedback. Even though they might have 99% positive, remember that it is a percentage. Often they will actually have quite a bit of negative feedback. If you see somehting that is too good to be true it often is. If you see something that makes you go HMMMM....maybe you should steer clear. :)

This is why I don't buy this type of stuff on eBay anymore. Too much confusion and worrying...

Yeah I know how that goes...I got a 2GB MS Duo for $40 and was legit, I have never been deceived eBay except when I bought a pack of a PSP Case, Earphones and a Wrist Strap for $15. But yeah the only problem was the headphones were like something you'd expect from the Popstation...

I dont have aproblem purchasing item from ebay either. Hell, I just purchased a new 4gb card from there. People just need to make sure they use discretion. I've seeen a lot of fakes because my girlfriend and her father often visit China and often the tell tale signs are hard to recognize. The good thing ebau ebay though is that if you recognize the item as a fake, ebay will usually give your money back and take it up with the seller.

Yes I use it in my psp as you read this post.
It took 2 weeks to come for the 2gb ms pro duo
How much did you buy it for?

If buying of eBay, then always use PayPal. You can always lodge a complaint if you are screwed with a dodgy MS.

I got my two 2 gig sticks at the chinese night market:D they work great, but i always wonder if they're actually fake, they were $65 cdn each, so i thought it wasn't a bad deal, especially since i didn't have to wait or pay extra shipping,

There's no way to tell if they are fake or not without trying to actually fill up the stick with 2 gigs worth of stuff.

The fake sticks are hard coded to read "1980 MB" on the PSP (or whatever the amount is), so the only way to find out is to try and actually fill it with 2 gigs worth of MP3's, games, or whatever.

Sorry to say it, but alot of fake memory sticks circulate around China. Not saying if yours is fake or not, but you should atleast see.
