Since on version can play Mil Cds and the other can't then what does the other dashboard look like? Does come with some other feature to make up for the lost one?

yeah they look the same, thats the problem! having said that it rare to find a DC that does not support Mil discs. And all dcs in europe support Mil discs

So what happens when you go to the Music menu? Mine was a month away form being one lol.

If's the disc is a GD-ROM, you can play CDDA tracks.

You mean GD-DA ;)

edit: that was made pretty much as a play on gd but i just remembered that there is a gdda format for GD-roms, but i can't remember if it's any different from cdda...
