I've mentioned this in the Shoutbox but I'm working on a shockwave game (an overhead rpg in the loosest of terms). I'm looking for a job in Multimedia and this is gonna be given out as part of my portfolio... anyways. If anyone could give me some feedback on the game I'd be very pleased the final version will be online in a few hours *hopefully*. (I'll post when i have) til then enjoy the buggy final version thats up now and the demos etc.

I dont know why anyone wasnt mentioned it yet but you're games pretty spiffy.

Mind if I point out some bugs?
You can get items over and over they keep coming back once you leave a area and come back.
The game paused for a good minute when I was getting the fake college pass.

well the coins are meant to be collectable over and over, im not sure about the disks did they come back again for you? that college pass thing seems a little bizarre, i'll have a look at it. thanks for your comments :)

Looks at his GB PD folder - still 859 entries to check... :P

I'd love to see sth like this on DC if its possible to port it somehow?
I know it's Shockwave based but...

I tried out the Windows exe today, and it worked pretty well for me. I couldn't find the ID card to get into the college (see, even at simple little games like this, I suck), and I have no clue what the little cassette tape in the top right of the screen was for, but I had a little fun playing around with it for a few minutes this afternoon. No bugs to report here.

all of the bugs have been fixed and im uploading the corrected versions to play online/download now. Enjoy.

*actually it looks like my host is down so hang on in there the site will be back... as well as the new upload very soon*

and if you need some help.... the disks are to view artwork in the gallery. if you find the video you can watch a film in the video shop and the pass is being sold by a very shady individual. i don't think theres any more help i can give than that i'm affraid. :P

sorry to respam this but the final bug free version as well as offline PC version is online now

would anyone think it would be worth the extra effort to make the downloadable version gamepad compatible?

sure, why not? gamepads are cool. *this way you don't have to choke up on the keyboard. *(baseball slang)

I don't want to over-simplify the subject but, I would hope that by now the process to add windows controllers would've been streamlined and made relatively painless. but I know nothing of such things.

I got a bug to report :P *I bought the card from that one guy but when I tried to go get it from the top of the phone booth (?) I was stuck and couldn't move.

Very interesting game, nonetheless. Good work :)
