I need help to get my psp working. I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on so I went to charge it up but when I plug it in nothing happens; the charging light won't turn or anything. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what my problem is and how I could fix it.

Well I doubt we could help with anything if we don't know anything about your PSP.

Have you left it on charge for while do you have the battery in correct
what was the last thing you did to it eg update it

It's a 2.00 psp. I put it on sleep one day, I didn't use it for a while and now it doesn't work.

I think I was playing wipeout when I put it on sleep.

I can't switch it on, even when it's plugged in.

to me,
it sounds like either
1) you need a new batery
2) the wiring has become unconnected

have you used any homebrew?becuse that might have caused a brick

maybe not but anyway . ..

Its defientley not a brick

I think it's just plain faulty

I don't think it's the battery. If it was the battery I would still be able to use the psp when it's plugged in.

It turns out my charger was busted. I used a friend's charger and it worked fine.
