What to buy?

I just bought a Max Media Player for $150.00 and am still capable of returning it. I am thinking of doing that to get a DS-x for $125.00. Should I do it? A few more questions are:
Can the DS-x play .sc.nds games?
Can the Ds-x play .ds.gba games if I switch it to .gba.nds?
Is the SC lite better than DS-x?
How much would it cost to get a SC Lite with 4gb?

I know this is a lot but it would really help if you could answer some.:D

YES return it! if you have a DS Lite, a SC Lite is probably what you would want...well thats my 2 cents ( not too talkative right now ) and (well I would think) SC Lite is better than DS-x in terms of homebrew and emu's and such
