Just got a PSP

Hey, I just got a psp in hopes of completely modding it, but after surfing around the forums, I found out that mine is unable to be modded. It has that code in the umd drive, 1c3001 or something like that.. There any way to mod that thing and get the emulators on it? or would I have to scower the internet and get an older system? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Because, they're... well, jerks. I haven't heard of a single success story yet, so maybe it was cover-up. Doubt it, but it's possible.

You could use the TIFF exploit which works on firmware <2.71. You'll find a guide in the cheats & guides forums, I think.

You can use the reverse devhook to emulate 1.5 on your psp. Or you could use HEN C.
