You should sell that 2.80 and get something you can downgrade

HarleyG's is the best, but when that new custom firmware comes out, (Can't remember the name at the moment) that will be best.

It can autoload homebrew, run 1.0 formatted eboots, boot into recovery mode, auto load devhook on startup, and load prx's on startup.

I agree with you on both accounts. And by the way, it is called 0x89. I can't wait for it.

Originally posted by ME---PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU HAVE DOWNGRADED YOUR PSP WITH AN "AUTOMATIC DOWNGRADER" THAN YOUR FIRMWARE IS "TAINTED" THIS MEANS USING EITHER THEME PSP OR harleyG's CUSTOM FIRMWARE COULD BRICK YOUR PSP. (I HAVE NOW HEARD OF SEVERAL CASES OF THIS) IT IS POSSIBLE TO "CLEAN" YOUR FIRMWARE. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS UPGRADE IT TO 2.00 FIRMWARE, AND THEN DOWNGRADE BACK TO A 1.5 FIRMWARE.

Do not try to flash over it. Remove it. Then upgrade. Other wise, your screwed. :(

so i have to updgrade again for this to work and then downgrade? why, and is it worth it seeing how i can still play homebrew where i am at. i downgraded from 2.71.

am really sorry about that but i just need an answer to the question. should i risk another downgrader and go to 2.00 and then to 1.5 just to try custom firmware or sould i stay at my 2.71 downgraded psp at 1.5?

Dude, I thought you said you applied Custom Firmware and got a a partial brick? Did you, or not?

If you did - Remove the CustomFirmware (slashers cfw unflasher), then update to 2.0, then downgrade to 1.5.

If you didn't- Thant the choice is ultimatley yours, but I would highley suggest HarleyG's 0.2. I personally use it. It has too many great features to list. :D

custom firmware has like a 2% of bricking your psp i dont even think you can turn it off while its even doing the patch :P

And is it still functioning correctly? Where did you get the download of that HG's cfw? Also, what firmware do you have now? (1.5 - I hope...). Did you downgrade the firmware to get to 1.5? If you want us to help you need to let us know exactly what is going on, and exactly what you want to do.:)

Oh, so your PSP does work? Good. :) Try downloading it from the theme thread in my sig, and trying it. JUST BE WARNED: THIS APP FLASHES YOUR PSP- SO USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THERE IS ALWAYS A SMALL CHANCE YOU COULD BRICK YOUR PSP
