2.71 to 2.5 succefull or no???

i found this downgrader from 2.71 to 2.5 and i really want to try it. has anyone done it before and has it worked for them???

that would be the generic downgrader u want, that link is for the 2.71's without the TA-082 mobo...unless u don't have a TA-082 mobo then use that

now how do i know what kind of mb do i have. when i open my umd drive i cant see any letters or anything
what do you guys think i should do. all i want to do with my psp is play emulator games. 2.5 does that right? if i do that to 1.5 can i upgrade to 2.5? can someone guide me please?

Yus, it's the generic downgrader you want. The only advantage I can see of downgrading to 2.5 is that the GTA exploit works with eloader.

In that case, try the 2.71 generic downgrader to 1.5 with the 1.5 EBOOT. That apparantly gives a true clean downgrade.

You do it through you computer, and follow the instructions on what to do on your PSP.

If it isn't in the top right, then it isn't a TA-082. I have the letters behind the metal piece aswell, and i've downgraded to 1.5.

I DID IT I GOT 1.5!!!! now i need a browser and install some emulators so i can play

You will need devhook 0.46

This lets you emulate 2.71 on a 1.5 psp

You should have got the automatic installer

You should be able to find a devhook "easy installer" somewhere. It contains copyrighted material though, so I can't post a link here.
