help with 4gb memory stick

hi, i have a 1.5 psp and use a scandisk 4gb memory stick. when i copy files over from my old memory stick, which worked 100%, there ends up being multiple copies of the file and they are corrupted and undeletable. is this a memory stick problem, or my usb cable not being able to handle the speed?:confused:

It may be your USB cable. I would copy the files to your HDD first, and then put them on the new mem stick. Maybe that will work...

oh sorry, thats wat i meant. i put the files on my computer first from my old 1 gig memory stick. this problem happens after 1 gig of memory is taken up, i tried to put music on here and they were corrupt but worked on my computer.

i have had to twice now, its the only way to get rid of the corrupt files

this will fix any corrupted files on ur MS, hope this helps...if u need any other help just holla :)

could this be a reason why i cant get any roms to work on gpsp, but they dont show up as corrupt they just go to the blue screen when i try to load them

it might just be ur roms then, what games, and what regions were they? might be ur bios too, there are alot of different gba bios and the real file u should google would be "cos-bios.zip"...to'plink...RE: DS BIOS - 1 ;)

all my games are region us, except kingdom hearts cause i heard the us doesnt work. All worked on my 1 gig fine, and i have pokemon dungeon red working on this one fine, along with golden sun 2. But all my other games get blue screens or bad jump signs prior to load.

hmmm, did u just try and take the files from ur computer, the ones u originally downloaded not the ones from ur 1gb MS, that goes for ur roms too

i use that bios, i saw u post that on the gpsp forum earlier. as for my files, i dont think i even have the originals all are recopied from my 1 gig memory stick, could they have gotten corrupt there and i have to reget them?

yup, that's happened to me once i had to take em from my computer to put em on my bro's psp and then replace my files it happened to me on snes9xTYL though

might not be the roms, just try installing the newly downloaded emus and try it with the roms on ur 1gb MS it's worth a shot...then if it still gives u problems ur probably gunna have to redownload em all again...i mean dump them from ur own games ;)

i run snes9xtyl, and it says roms cant be read they may be corrupt. i ran the corrupt fixer and it found none corrupt.

i think i got an ebay scam, so now i have to go to best buy, buy a new memory stick, and return the one i have now as the one i am going to buy to scam them out of a new one. great--the guy i bought it from isnt a registered member anymore

ohhhhh u got it from ebay, yeh it's fake then, report the people u got it from and get ur money back then go get one from a store, or like newegg or pricewatch they had em for $120

i cant even report that guy, he split after he sold 10 of these things. i knew 80 bucks was to good to be true. also, if its fake how come the first gig of memory worked perfectly but after that it didnt work?

damn, yeh bring it to walmart if u got one near u, if not say u got it for ur birthday so u don't have the reciept and say it's defected, try that at best buy if u don't have a walmart near u :D

yeh it has less space then it should and files corrupt easier
