Ok My Psp Up Button Is Broken So I Called This Dude. And I Asked What Firmware I Am Going To Get Back And He Sayed Whatever Firmware I Have On It!!! I'm Going To Get A Brand New 1.5. And Im Not Stupid Enough To Leave My Mem Card That Has All My Homebrew On It! I Am So Exited! I Just Cant Hide It! I Want Everyone In The World To Feel What I Am Feeling! brand New 1.5!:d :d :d :d :d

No, they will just fix your old psp, they wont give you a new one. By the way, Exclamation marks and capitalizing each word doesn't make you cool.

Someone who goes to my school had his PSP's UMD laser go crazy, so he sent it to Sony. They sent it back like it was (2.5) except for some reason it thought it was a 1.0, so he just upgraded to 1.5.

The sound stopped working on my psp so i sent it away to get fixed.

They sent be back a completely diferent psp lol.

They sent me a 2.71, and i new it wasnt my old one because the screen had no chips and my screen protector wasn't on it, but there was some slight marks on it, and a lanard that looked fairly old.

i sent in a 2.71 bricked ta-082 and got back a non ta-082 2.80 psp :o

They sent me a non ta-082 2.71 which is all good coz i just used dark alex's downgrader to 1.50

you should have sent it in and you probably wouldve gotten a ta-082 2.6..but no probs there because you could update to 2.71 and use devhook to emulate 1.5.

Well...then again, 2.81s ARE shipping now so maybe its best you didnt send it in...:o

I didn't recall anyone being an asshole :rolleyes: They were just stating the truth, he'd probably get a TA-082 or worse, a TA-082 with 2.81.

ok its random on what you will get back, thats why people sometimes get a 2.6 or a TA-082. If the guy siad you were gonna get a 1.5 then he was lieing. Its random. The sony warehouse where your new PSP (if you get a new one) will be comeing from will have a stack of PSPs and a worker will grab one, throw it in a box and ship it to you. Thats how replacements work in just about any business, now you *might* get a refurbished PSP. That all depends on how Sony decides to run their replacement policy.
