i hate to say it but splodger's story doesn't fit the profile, he said yesterday he was at 1.5 and would never upgrade, and today he said he was at 2.71 for a while then UPGRADED to 2.0, then after S34MU5 beat him to the mobo he makes a thread saying he bricked his psp....i smell something fishy

yeah upgrading dus write to flash... and you could have pulled out the battery during upgrading and thtwould brick so sony couldent tell.. if you sent it to them... like i did cause i was on 2.80 before any tiff stuff came out:D, and i got a 2.60, if you took it back to the store they wouldent know if sony dont know they wont lol

i read through the thread and as for the price i would expect the motherboard is at least 1/2 of the expense of the psp so i would say $100 for the broken psp.

also the UMD drive works.

and since S34MU5 posted first he gets 1st dibs... after that whoever makes the best offer will get it

That's very good fortune to find a PSP, broken or not, lying on the street. Consider yourself lucky. :)

yea i know it was in a protective case and had about 5 games in there. only 1 game works though because the game cases are all crushed and i had to switch the discs from case to case to get the games to work lol

this should be in the shops and sellers forum.

p.s. nice find, I wish I could find something like that.
