View Full Version : 1.5 or 2.71?

I am trying to install the 'golden firmware' (2.71 SE) but I am not sure whether the readme instructions are for a 1.5 psp or 2.71.

u need a 1.5 fw to upgrade to 2.71SE, if u need help(u shouldn't, it's really easy) just hit me up in a PM

OK, now i have a problem which is i thought you needed 2.71 to use it so i upgraded. Now i am using the easy downgrader but the red screen never appears, my psp just freezes and then turns off. Have tried about 10 times

Keep trying , i downgrade 2 psp (none of which is mine ) its always on the second time it work for me on the 2 psp ...

format your memory stick (copy all files to hard drive for backup) then put the downgrader files on the memstick. make sure your mem stick is 2.0 GB or lower. plug in the AC adapter and keep trying. mine worked after 7 tries after i formatted the memstick.
