In my opinion you cant go past Brunni's MMSPlus (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=38365).

Great emulation, beautiful GUI with loads of options, even crops the blank bar down the LHS of the screen a lot of games had even on the original hardware (Most old tvs dont display the outermost pixels of the image).

PSPMaster (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=36232) is also very popular and a quality emu, guess its personal preference.


EDIT: If a mod reads this could you update MMSPlus's front page menu bar links (MS and GG) to the latest versions release thread (linked above), theyre out of date. Cheers.

I would have to PSPMaster is the better of the SMS emulators for the PSP. I was using SMSPlus for quite a while (pre-PSPMaster days mind you :D) and really it did suck much balls, I mean cut-off screen, distorted sound, little to no GUI it was pretty much all an emulator shouldn’t be. I have never tried MMSPlus, but by the sounds of it, it's not too bad. So really it comes down to personal choice between PSPMaster and MMSPlus.
