SUpercard Lite help

I own a supercard lite. And i am not fully understanding it yet..

How do i save GB/GBA games?

How do i know what firmware version is on here? I went to the site and clicked the update thing, put the .nds file into my DS and opened the .nds file. The DS restarted and that was it. So.. did it update my firmware or what?

Kinda part of the above question. The updater page and the update file has the patcher. and it wants me to patch something like _BOOT_MS.nds. I dont have that file.. and what happens when i patch it.


Im going to start making apps/ games for DS Homebrew and i need full understanding of my hardware before i can go making things.

The patcher that looks for "_BOOT_MS.nds" is the file to patch Moonshell (a homebrew app) so that it works on the supercard
