Hi

Does anybody know where I can get the PAL VMU downloads for Skies Of Arcadia (the ones that unlock Hamachou Island and the extra boss fight)? I've found links on a couple of sites but then when I've loged on with my DC and tried them, only the US and Jap ones download properly and obviously these aren't compatible with the PAL version.

Any help would be appreciated. If anybody's got a CDR with them on that I can put straight into the DC, I'll even pay for it, it's bugging me that much!!

Try taking a look at Blue Swirl (http://bswirl.kitsunet.org/main.php?lg=en&menu=on).

Thanks a lot :D , thats where I've just got them from.

Hi there, first time posting after deciding to bring my DC out of storage and after doing the power board fix and getting into SoA again I noticed that obviously the places to download the patches is long dead, but my question is, can someone tell me what those downloads were?

I'm not quite with it using the blueswirl site, I hate to ask such big things in a first post, and a necropost at that but can someone briefly exlain how I get someone off of my PC to a VMU? Its all a little bit overwhelming...or maybe its just the nostalgia

They are available here (http://dreamcast.onlineconsoles.com/phpBB2/downloads_officialcontent.php) but you probably should just use one of these:

Hm, hate to double post but I have another question...

Downloaded the 3 SoA files to my VMU and looking at them in the DC's VMU viewer the file icons display a red circle with an X in it, is something wrong with the files?

Hey guys... can someone supply the link to that Bucanero site as I can't find it? I need the files in Pal format desperately, the Online consoles site ones fail when I try to download them via Dreamkey 3.0 but the NTSC and NTSC-J ones download fine, they just aren't compatible with my copy of the game! thanks very much

Hey thanks mate, I actually found the page eventually but when I try to download the files from my DC Browser it just doesnt work!! I can download files as it has worked before. I just use Dreamkey 3.0. Is it possible my browser is faulty? Or are the files just incorrect? I don't suppose theres a way to transfer files from my pc to the DC is there? I heard something about a system software that allowed you to look at your pc files and files on a disc? Could I download them to my pc, burn them to a disc then move them to my dc? Or is it quicker to download the NTSC files and convert them to PAL? for some reason the JAP and NTSC file downloads at the OC work but not the pal!! PITA!!!! Thanks mate

i'm sure what your looking for is in there ;)

Thanks very much mate, do you know if it will burn correctly via Alcohol 120%? Its a CDI right?? I've tried to burn both the XDP Limited Edition R4 AND Dream Explorer but neither have been successful so far, they just don't run properly on my DC. I will try to burn the one you suggest but are there any tips you can give to burn successfully? Also Disc Juggler doesn't seem to want to work on XP installations either. Thanks again

Hey buddy, I just wanted to say thanks very much! The CDI from Bucanero finally worked! I burned it with Alcohol 120%, I had tried to burn CDI's of XDP, another vmu disc image and a few other things but they all failed but the 8.5mb CDI for the VMU disc from Bucanero worked a charm! I was able to run the disc on my dc AND Download the PAL region files without any trouble at all. You saved my bacon mate, thanks very much!!
