A 250GB Xbox sans Kinect will be available sometime before the end of the year (which doesn't leave much shipping time!) for ¥29,800.

Previously, buyers were limited to the choice of a 4GB model with or without a Kinect, or a 250GB bundle with Kinect. That added Kinect really isn't doing anything for (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/29/report-japan-makes-up-just-1-of-worldwide-kinect-hardware-sale/) sales. The good news here is that if you are in Japan and decide to pick one of these up, you should be able to find a cheap copy (http://andriasang.com/comzh1/ffxiii2_sellthrough/) of Final Fantasy XIII-2 to go with it.
