upgrading to 2.71

a freidn is wanting to downgrade, he has 2.60 fw and no copy of GTA, is the best way to downgrade, upgrade to 2.71 and then to 1.50?
where can we get 2.71 to update from?

upgrade to 2.71 and down to 1.5 and be sure to check that he doesnt have ta-82 but if he has ta-82 up to 2.71 and then use reverse devhook to emulate 1.5 and play homebrews.
U can get updates from umd games that require 2.71 or search the web

I just used the 2.71 generic downgrader to downgrade a psp to 1.5 and it worked great.Kinda reasurring that it does a format and clean install too.
