Horrible Problem!!!!

Iv had the Supercard Lite for a little over a month now. I turn it on this morning and i get the "LIST SAVE OPTIONS HELP" at the top of the screen. But the screen is white.
I then put the card into the card reader and it doesn't know that its there. After about 10 minutes of nothing the "Autoplay" thing pops up, then 5 minutes later, it detects it, next it says something about timing out...

Now both my 1gb and 2gb cards are ruined.. Doom killed the 1gb card.. and i don't even know what happened to this one.
I opened it up and cleaned it out, even made the prongs in there closer to where the card is inserted.. GAH.
I really don't want to lose the game saves i have in there. So formatting will be a last resort.

Someone please help!

For retrieving game saves, wouldn't putting the card in your computer and copying all data over be an option?
Then you could format and still have the data...

.. my post says that it doesn't detect it.

And when it does, it times out and i then lock up until i take it out.

maybe your card reader is broke, if it isnt detecting 2 different cards..?
