Dont go with the Youtube quality of the video output. The actual is far more impressive

1.6 mp isn't very good, but if the video quality is decent then maybe the camera isn't such a bad purchase. You need 2.82 don't you?

Not to flame but you would be better off not trying to sound so smart next time. They both mean the same thing. Just one is a noun, the other an adjective.

Hmm. The pictute quality is better than what i expected. The video however sucks. My phone could do better. What more it only records like 15 seconds of video. Sucks again.

The quality is pretty decent. Since I have a ED camcorder and a 7.1 megapixel digital camera, it's kinda useless to me though.

what would make this much better, is if a homebrew application was made, to run this camera on lower firmwares (2.71 SE-B) and if the homebrew program could give you the option to make the video as long, as you have space in the memory stick =]

I think thats a question we have all been wondering. I really need to get one of these as I don't have a camera. But c'mon Sony, 10-15 seconds? I think you could let us record for a little longer.

That's a lot better than I thought it would be. I might even consider buying one, for incidental shots when I don't have my digital camera on me (most of the time). Question is, how does it perform at night, or in low light?

same i own a sony k800i and the camera in that is 3.2mp very very nice. suprised at how the psp camera looks - heard the specs and thought it was gonna be bit naff but having seen this pics changed my mind....maybe

I´m impressed. those photos look pretty good.. much better than I was expecting. If some homebrew software can be used with this I just might pick it up.
