With the custom firmware, mods, and homebrew being released so often I have gotten confused with which ones I need to have installed on my psp. I would like to have some people give me their idea of the essential custom firmware, mods, and homebrew to have installed on my 1.50 psp

Ok, Firmware: Get DAX 2.71 Custom Firmware SE-B And The Install SE-B'' Into It.

Mods: There Is Currently A Version Of X-Flash That Allows You To Flash To 2.71 SE, (So, Custom Fonts/ Gameboots etc)

Homebrew: That's a tough One. I Myself Have MVS PSP The Neogeo EMU, and Metal Slug, YPaint, Super Mario War, Metal Blob Solid, and DGEN sega Genesis Emulator. Also Get Deaudelus, It's A N64 Emu For PSP.

I noticed nobody noticed the most recent... GBA EMULATOR!!! i think it son .8 now, the best part is u can transfer the saves back and forth between comp and psp, play rpg's on the go (pokemon is still tight), and then battle a friend on a network using vbalink.

As far as staple apps PC and PSP. The quick downgrader from 2.71 to 1.50, 2.71 firmware incase someone comes over and I gotta downgrade them. Devhook Launcher MOD to play via USB. iRShell to connect wifi for music and video streams. Also WifiConnect to use my PSP as a joystick via wifi for my PC. GBA emulator, SNES emulator (one that actually works with 1.50). As for n64.. too slow, Genesis I have the emu with 650 games but not worth it cept for crewball. Id love to get pimpstream working or PSPradio so I can add those to my PSP. Sure other other notables which I havent tried would be Mame that runs the capcom/marvel fighter games and gradius/r-type series.
