Sorry for starting a new thread again.

Yesterday my sis got herself a new PSP which has the 2.60 firmware with the TA-082 motherboard inside so what can i do with it now since it isnt the 2.8x firmware.

Please give me some ideas. Thanks. :)

Reverse devhook, Hoss.

After reading the threads i realised that the only route for me to play homebrew games is to update to the 2.71 firmware and use the reverse devhook.

Is the above info true?

It's not the only way.. You can use an eLoader either through the TIFF exploit or the GTA saving exploit.

But the Reverse Devhook is definately the best way and with most compatibility.
So upgrade to 2.71, install HEN-C and then Reverse Devhook.

I can tell you from personal experience, that I was in the same position as your sis, and I updated to 2.71, and now I am practicaly a happy 1.5 user, since most of the time I am emulating it(for all the amazing homebrew out there), I was using the TIFF eloader for a while, but the compatibility level is so low.

You can update to 2.71, and use HEN-C and reverse Devhook. Just wait for a way to downgrade those.
