if its a ceramic white its most likely a ta-082 :( and they come with 2.5, 2.6 or 2.8...i believe the psp-1xxx code is how u can tell...do a little searching for psp box code keys...i know mine is NOT a ta-082 and it is a psp1004.

i would get at least a 1 gig if you plan to have any emulation...snes, arcade, genesis, etc..

a 512 might cut it.

its the letter after the psp1xxx that you need. mine was a K and came with 2.5 (I think, might have been 2.01) and wasn't a ta-82

My brother-in-law bought a white PSP letter k and that was 2.6, non-TA-082.

I read on Psp-hacks that some guy bought a Ta-082
with 1.5 firmware. He says there are numbers when he opens the UMD like on all ta's but when he switched it on, and went to system settings, it said System Version: 1.5. Now that's lucky. I'll try to find the link.

the whole point of ta 082 was to disable hombrew, sony wouldnt make a 1.5 ta 082, it defeates the purpose of 082 motherboards in the first place!

I don't know, maybe they made a mistake. As I said I'll post the link.

ta-082 mobos dont have the correct voltage capabilites to run 1.5 thats why they're virtually impossible to downgrade
