March 14th, 2012, 17:20
Heres the latest news from the PSN Team:

I’m incredibly pleased to bring you the news that The House of the Dead 4 will be ready for download next month; available exclusively on PlayStation Network (http://eu.playstation.com/psn/) on April 18th at the very wallet-friendly price of £6.49/€7.99. This will be the first time this classic arcade light gun shooter is going to be available on a home console, so you can now relive those memories of dimly lit arcade halls, all those coins weighing down your pockets, and that moreish gameplay which kept you playing much longer than you really should have.

If you need a refresher of the game, the premise is simple: you play as AMS Agent James Taylor or Kate Green with the aim of saving the world by fighting against an old enemy and hordes of unforgiving evil creatures. Use your gun and grenades to blast them away!
Key features are:

PlayStation Move (http://eu.playstation.com/psmove/) compatible
Multiplayer mode
Multiple paths
Ranking and grading system to track your shot accuracy
Additional levels from The House of the Dead 4 Special
Bonus unlockable PlayStation Home (http://eu.playstation.com/psn/pshome/) item

For a limited time only (18th April until 3rd May), Plus (http://eu.playstation.com/playstationplus/) members will also have access to a 30% discount on the full game, with Plus members also getting four exclusive PSN avatars which are not available to anyone else.
Hopefully you’re excited as we are about this arcade classic coming to PSN, and if you can’t wait then make sure to check out both House of the Dead 3 and House of the Dead: OVERKILL (http://eu.playstation.com/ps3/games/detail/item392666/?WT.mc_id=PDC_blog_g), which are both available from PlayStation Store (http://eu.playstation.com/psn/store/) now.
