I dont know if anyone else saw it on the Front page of PSP Updates, seeing as though its gone now. But there was a rumoured PS2 emu for the PSP. Now i dont normally shoot down rumours like this but the PS2 emulation on the PSP can be summed up by this bloke: :rofl: .im pretty sure the "photos" were just exellent Photoshoppery.

And now have a look at a photo that my friend took of a brand new Nintendo Wii emulator for the PSP in action playing twilight princess!:

:eek: Really i thought he was telling the truth and actually had a psp that could float in mid air and have reflections under it also in thin air, you've just COMPLETELY blown my mind i had no idea it was a joke. Despite the fact that we both live in Australia, and the Wii hasn't been released here yet.

Amazing, Absolutely amazing.

(I'm not being cynacal, just sarcastic ;) )

Just for any n00bs Don't get your hopes up.
A PS2 emu running at any speed faster that lets say 3fps Would NEVER be possible on psp.

would it be possible to get dreamcast running? isnt that released about the same time as the ps1?

oh, and by the way i have ps3 emulated on my psp! Metal Gear Solid 4 runs so smooth!

i read that the dreamcast has a 200mhz cpu, but its a Hitachi sh4 risc. do you know what the ratio of the psp's cpu and the dreamcast's architecture would be?

No it woulden't, the DC is similar to the PS2 (Just off by some) and no 6th gen console or portable gaming system can emulate one of the same era.

And the Dreamcast is a 128bit console released in 1999, not 1994 has someone said.
