Hi, i have a version 2.6 ta-082 psp. Right now im thinking of buying socom 2 because its the greatest psp game on earth!  But on the other hand, that means that i have to update my psp to 2.80 something which means that i can't play any homebrews! BUT! i thought socom is a lot better than stupid homebrews because all the homebrews that i downloaded are so bad!! and i mean soooo bad. Should i update my psp? or wait for some program that will let me play socom on 2.71 verison..
plzzzz help!!!!!!!!!!!:( :(

edit: If you know any really GOOD homebrew games plzz let me know!
Thanks

SNES TYL 0.42 (you have to download SNES ROMs too)

gPSP (you have to download Gameboy Advance ROMs too)

The two reasons above are the only reasons I play my PSP.

You have two choices, you could either update to 2.80 and use the eloader, or you could wait for the next release of devhook, which supports 2.80.
Not sure about the compatibility of the eloader, so if you're patient, wait for devhook.
