Hi everyone...

We all know that PS1 emu (PS1P) was released finally

And its the best until now

Using it is very easy....However

Some people still have problems using it

So I just wanted to show you how to make backups and play with it

What are you going to need:

1- Any program to make CDs backups

I prefer and use cloneCD easy and fast

you can find it HERE (http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html) (not full version...rules ya'know)

2- A computer running Windows (Xp if possible)

3- Any PS1 game lets say FF7 (original & yours)

4- PS1 bios (SCPH1001.BIN -512 KB-)

I wont tell where to find it, you should do that

5- PS1 memory card as afile (mcd001.mcr -128 KB-)
you'll find it at ps1p official release thread.

6- PSP vesion (1.50 - 271 SE-C ... any version that runs homebrew)

7- Memory Stick (1GB is enough)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Now lets start with the procedure:

1- Insert your PS1 game (FF7...etc) into your computer's CD drive

2- Start cloneCD after installing it and you'll get like this

http://s07.picshome.com/d8c/1.jpg

3- Click on first icon (cd+glasses)

4- Choose your CD drive....click Next

5- Choose either Data or Game CD I prefer Game.....click Next

6- Choose the Destination (C,D,...etc).....click OK

7- Thats it the prog. will start to make a backup of you original PS1 game, It may take some time depend on the game, but it will do the job for sure.

8- After making your backup, you should have something like this

http://s07.picshome.com/287/2.jpg

9- Last thing to do is to copy everything to your Memory Stick (1GB aleast)

10- At the end you should have something like this in GAME (1.50 users) or GAME150 (271 SE-C users) folder in your MS

http://s07.picshome.com/4b8/3.jpg

And inside (__SCE__ps1p) folder it should be like this:

http://s07.picshome.com/4b8/4(1).jpg

11- then start the Emu from the PSP and enjoy...

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Extra Notes: you can use pocketISO to compress you image to 50% of its original size.....however when I comp. FF7 it did not work with me.

Also I didnt notice any difference when changing the % in the emu...I dont know why....

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Thats it , If you have any Q?.....JUST ASK!!!

Byeeeeeeee....
