Does it work on 2.71 SE-B"? I've heard of previous versions not working, but I'm asking because I really want to emulate 2.82.

I really don't want to reflash my PSP with a new update I don't need. Is there any risk in trying it as long as I'm not flashing the emulated firmware?

minimal risk, to get it working you have to flash some things (devhook registry for emulated 2.82) to flash1 (contains lesser important files for the PSP - custom background set through photo menu, registry files,NOTE-if the PSP cannot load the registry and cannot create new ones you will end at an endless cycle of 'press O to reset' BSOD)

Will they ever release a version like .46 where you just install it like the .46 with no flashing? Because I have a 1.5 and don't want to change my version or flash anything.
