It’s official: Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (http://marketplace.xbox.com/Product/Minecraft-Xbox-360-Edition/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802584111f7?cid=majornelson) has has broken all previous Xbox LIVE Arcade digital sales records, selling more than any other title in the first 24 hours on Xbox LIVE Arcade. I just looked at the leaderboards and there are over 400,000 people playing…so that will give you an idea at how well it is doing.
Congrats to 4J Studios, Mojang (http://www.mojang.com/)  and Microsoft Studios (http://www.microsoft.com/games/) for all the great work.
