sure, and this emu will have some online function, like download game informations, game cover and screenshot, and someday, maybe, a online game play :D

Not exactly. The thing that download the game cart and the screenshots -- those are for the PC CD builder thing that scherzo is making to read you roms CRC and finding out what screenies you need without ever having to download and search for screenshots yourself.

I'm not sure whether online play is avalible in this version or not, especially the dial-up modem. I do remember scherzo saying he did want to add support for it sometime, just doesn't know when. Maybe when someone release a complete dial-up driver that's ready to use. I know someone who is working on one, but who knows when it'll be finished?

This is a DC forum, and a dreamcast thread. i was gonna say something yesterday, but i wussed out, cause i know the mods are trying to make it all open and stuff. This release is going to be very neat-o indeed, and i give mad prop units to scherzo, for hammering out this bad boy, and his other works. Can't wait for a release, flaming hot.

Well this, I have to say is just astonishing. Who said the DC is dead?? Well...I have to be honest, the day that they ceased production on my beloved DC, was a sad, sad day indeed. However, this is just another stupendous, amazing, altogether fantastic anouncement for the whole DC scene. In all of my years as a gamer ( about 26!!!) I have never seen a console make a comeback like this, so come on people a big hand goes out to all the staff, all the coders and all of us for making my life a more pleasant one and also lets all give the DC a big shout out: "WIZE FWOM YOUR GWAVE" , seriously though, happy+me go together well at the moment, peace and best wishes to all!!!

i like to use 6.0. it works very okay for me.

of course it looks sweet, scherzo, the head behind it has also released superfamiCast, a quite nice looking snes emu for the DC. it's quite nice as well, if i remember correctly it runs at about 80 percent speed (don't quote me on that), and u can mess w/ the options to make it go quicker (maybe??), he may work on that some more in the future, but right now he is busy with life and Nester SE.
The best truly is, yet to come for dreamcast emulation.

As for the lack of updates being posted here, it's because I don't really feel the need to post info in two separate places. That's just me. Nothing against this site and forum, really. But I've chosen the other forum as my home for now.

NesterDC SE is still in active development and I make progress on an erratic and slow but steady basis. It will get done and should be all that you're expecting.
