Does anyone know of a quick and easy way of doing this? I have tried using the Flask thingy and stuff, but it takes too long and you lose quality. If anyone has a really easy way to rip from DVD and zoom in slightly so that you loose the black lines, please let me know! This needs to be done before you create the MP4 so you don't loose resolutioin. Thanks all!!!

you can use DVD2AVI to do this, what you do then is 'save project' and then use TMEGEnc Plus to then encode the video to mpg or avi (u may need divx pro for this) to then put it to MP4 (i think on the DVD2AVI program you can save as avi but it saves fiddling around with DivX Pro doing it that way) i managed to do it with a DVD movie, convert it to SVCD (default setting on TMPEGEnc) and it works and looks great

hope this helps.

I'll give that a go, thanks. I was hoping that there might be something that would rip the DVD and do it all in one.. Too much messing about and it doesn't seem worth it... Cheers anyway, i'll give it a go :)
