I have a 1.5 PSP but i was thinking.This release of 3.00oe if you new a friend with this installed could they do a entire dump of there firmware and you stick it in your devhook folder emulating 3.00


Or why does Dark Alex create something for us 1.5 folders so we could just place it in our dh folder and emulate the 3.00oe

Yes i would like to try this although i am not sure what program to use to dump the firmware.X Flash does it but i dont think it works with the new custom firmware yet

I just found a customizer for 3.02oe on QJ. It says it can dump the firmware. I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes

Splodger seriously you should use 3.02OE it is amazing and if you don't like it then run the 1.5 updatef from the recovery menu. It's so easy, even I can do it.

My results on this crazy idea showed inconclusive. My PSP just had a black screen. The reason i wont update to it as i am just worried about all the flashing business.

yes its true u can use the DATA.DXAR on more then 1 psp, i created the file on 1 psp and flashed it (works fine) and copied to my other psp and flashed it (works fine) no worrys man, it'll be fine!!

as far as this custom firmware being better than 1.50.... well it does everything 1.50 can do, plus a whole lot more. you have all the features of 3.02 firmware and you can run homebrew. What more do you need??

It won't work in devhook because devhook needs trick to launch each firmware...

Plus, upgrading is best, OE-A is in no way inferior to SE-C or 1.5.

this has been discussed many times b4 and it is only possible if u rewrite devhook's pspbtncf.txt and pspbtncf_game and the other text files because 3.02 oe emulates both kd(3.02) and kn(1.50) folder.
Might need to make a new devhook too I guess if theres a source for devhook some pro coder might be able to do it.

actually the kd/module folder is 1.50 and kn/nodule is 3.02 (like how SE it was kd/module=1.50, kn/nodule=2.71)
