new for X-Flash V18:

- Multi Firmware Version implementation.
Supports three versions including 3.02 OE unofficial hybrid.
- Esitmated free space on flash0 is more accurate.
- Program terminates if any firmware installation on flash0 is
greater than 20.2 Megabytes (all firmware versions).
- Gameboot movies for 3.02 SE must be no greater in size than
the original gameboot movie.
- Added a Christmas theme for the X-Flash menu.

xflash does checks
to see what firmware your on

I just installed 3.02oe and used xflash there and it says I have no avaiable room or something like that and when I go to change the backgrounds to black with it, it's all white :S and I can't read the bloody screen, anyone like this?

ps. solve my problem, I went to themes and way at the top, there's a black theme so it's all fixed :D

How do you correctly replace 3.02's backgrounds? All I get is a plain white one when I try to flash a new one in. Is there anything special I need to do here?

I got that too while flashing the black ones, to solve this I went to
Settings, Theme Settings, and selected the black theme which was way at the top of it and this solve it

Ah, thank you very much. I get it now... Xflash can only replace one background: the January one. That's too bad, I was sort of hoping for more than one custom background, but this is pretty alright. Thanks again for your help!

you need to go back to 1.5
and go back up to 3.02OE

return back to the xmb / system settings / restore default settings.

then you will also need to turn off your parental control level ( PWord 0000 by default ) which is in the xmb / security settings
then try again .hope this works for ya .

oh, somewhere else or maybe here was randomly saying that changing fonts will mess up the PS1 emu, but that doesnt, ill try to debrand my gameboot/bootsound, and see how it goes
ill be back in a sec.
