i just downgraded my wifes psp from 2.80 to 1.50 it worked perfectly until she asked me to put a custom theme using themepsp i did not think anything of it since i have used that same program on my psp but little did i know i needed to downgrade to 1.00 and then upgrade to sony 1.50 eboot so i run themepsp on my wifes psp and the screen goes white and the the system reboots to the blue screen of death and can not go back to the xmb but if i put a 1.50 game in it works fine i just cant get to the xmb can someone help me i have a few ideas but would like feed back to give me some more ideas so i can fix this any help would be appreciated

I never use theme PSP

so do you keep on getting BSOD

cant update the xmb id disabled that is my problem

There is nothing you could do.

Either take it back to the shop

Have you got a PSP or know anyone else with a PSP. Because you can get 3.02OE and get the recovery mode onto your MS and fix it with that. Even better if you have a Memory Card Reader you could just put the recovery folder on your MS yourself.

thanks for the help but i think recovery mode only work for custom firmware i tried and nothing happens for me thanks for the help

i know that but i was asking the dude because if you press O it should take you back to the xmb after reboot so what happens after you click O

it's starts to reboot and then goes back to the BSOD and it keeps trying to reload and it keeps going to the BSOD if i put in a 1.50 umd game it will load up and play just fine when i quit the game it's back to the BSOD i googled how to unbrick my psp iand read i can open it up and make the usb go straight to the flash and fix it from my pc

i used the same themepsp that i used on my psp and it worked fine the one with the ps3 theme . i have upgraded my psp to 3.02oe how do i get back 1.50 i find it easier to work with

i tried to used the recovery it says to press R while the psp is on and when i do nothing happens i used the basic installer 1.50 off of my pc i am lost on what to do

Do a full hard reset on the PSP.And do you have the recovery folder installed.

Then load recovery menu

i just tried once more and still when i press R on start up nothing happens it just goes to the xmb

Try switching it on then wait about 7 secs then push R

it worked thank you so much you have been a lot of help tried the recovery on my wifes psp but nothing to all that helped me thank you have a merry x-mas splodger and waggster and all of you that help us noobs so many would be lost with out you and people like you

He was returning to 1.50 on the other PSP, the one that was on 3.02 OE-A.
