newbie running devhook and other programs

I have firmware 2.71.
can anyone explain how do i run devhook
(and isos) and other programs?
I have installed hend but running devhook
(I think 0.40) says it can't run game
(not corrupt file)

Say guys - since we're talking about devhook here - I'm a 1.5 user and I have a devhook wich allows me to emulate 2.71, my question is: is there some new version capable of 3.0 or 3.0+ emulation? in a couple of months legend of heroes 3 will come out and I'm sure it'll require a new firmware so.. any help?

Firstly, check you don't have a ta-082 motherboard here

Devhook 0.51 can emulate 3.02.
