Why 3.02 OE-A when I have DevHook 0.51 w/3.02 emulation?
Do I gain any advantages by running 3.02 OE-A compared to running DevHook 0.51 w/fw3.02 emulation?
I tried searching for the answers, but could not find any satisfying results.
If you can provide the technical explanation of how the 2 systems work, that would be helpful too.

disadvantages of devhook against 3.02OE-A
1-devhook is only emulating 3.02, while 3.02OE-A is its primary firmware which means its faster.

2-3.02OE-A can play official ps1 games from sony on the psp. Devhook does not have that ability.

advantages of devhook against 3.02OE-A
1-you can maintain the purity of the original 1.5 firmware on your psp.

2-multiple firmwares supported

^Pretty much what he said. I guess LocationFree and the Korean don't work on OE-A, but I would definately try out OE-A.

OE has PS1 games support. Trust me, Dev Hook emulating 3.02 is very good, but OE is just absolutely amazing.

You can run devhook on 3.02OE aswell... So multiple firmwares are supported on that aswell. So it seems the only disadvantage is the purity of the 1.5...

No because you are on 2.80 you need a 1.50 or a 2.71 SE-C
