Right on time for the 10th anniversary of id Software (http://www.idsoftware.com/)'s Quake, DCEvolution.net's second Xmas 2006 release (http://dcevolution.net/goto.php?id=88) represents the ultimate Quake package for your Dreamcast:

Play the original Shareware Version of Quake or fight your way through more than 300 Deathmatch maps against bots.

Using an enhanced version of QuakeDC, ported by Titanium Studios (http://www.titaniumstudios.com/) (Stupid Invaders), it offers everything you'd expect from a commercial Dreamcast game:
With its VMU and VGA support, high resolution graphics at 640x480, light and transparency effects and the full original soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails (http://www.nin.com/) it basically plays and looks like Quake III Arena.

A release of this quality is only possible thanks to Manoel "Fragger" Kasimier (http://quakedev.dcemulation.com/fragger/) (nxMakaqu), who has been working on polishing, improving and enhancing QuakeDC since 2001. This compilation finally features all of his fantastic work on one huge disc!

For more info about this release, printable covers and the download check out this website (http://www.dcevolution.net/goto.php?id=89).

Be sure not to miss yesterday's Xmas release: The Sandman - Dreamcast Demo Disk Vol.1 (http://www.dcevolution.net/goto.php?id=89)

The DCEvolution.net Team wishes everyone some nice and quite days! :)

Awesome, but it's too bad it's not ready in plain files because that would make it a lot easier to put in the full version. But still, I'm looking foward to trying this out :)

Just copy all files to your HDD, replace the \ID1\PAK1.PAK with the PAK1.PAK from your registered version and reburn with BootDreams ;)

Is this a perfect copy of the game or a half perfect like the others?

It's a shareware copy with the first chapter. However, I did what Christuserloeser suggested and I ripped the files to the HDD and edited it so that it has all of the files. I did that with ISO Buster, and then I used BootDreams to recompile the image. I haven't tried it yet, but I think that's the right way to do it.
