free cnc and its sdl

FreeCNC will be a free implementation of the Command & Conquer Game Engine written in SDL. It will support the original C&C graphics and audio, as well as Red Alert's data files.

I'm still very confused why nobody on earth took a closer look at FreeCNC and FreeCol for a DC port. Those two projects are one of the most "open" and promising game projects so far.

if it was to work we would then have the possibility of having moddable rts games on the Dreamcast.

Hi

here are the sources for it but compiling for DC.
www.mekadevspot.info/

still you will need to register and then login to download the sources over the forum, thread:
Mekanaizer's BETA Software

i hope that this helps someone to speed up work (still it is a 5 minutes port, it may or may not work over DC at first time, the sources just compiled ok. I don't have time to continue the work so anyone can continue it) Wraggster i hope you soon can play CNC over DC. :D

Now that'd be a fantastic game for the DC - I love real-time strategy games :)
